I've recently purchased a WAG325N router and am having some trouble with the wireless connection. It seems that randomly the connection will drop out on one or more of the wireless devices attached to it, but not necessarily all of them. To get it to reconnect, you need to repair or disable / enable the network connection. I've also noticed that I can't get my VMware computer to pick up a DHCP address in bridged mode when running on the wireless. Plugged in it works fine however.

I've upgraded to the latest version of the firmware and have changed the modem from 40MHz to 20MHz as per some suggestions. That possible made a small improvement, but the dropouts are still an annoying problem.

Is anyone else experiencing this or do i have a dud?

I run this same router, running the latest 0.12 firmware from Linksys. I have no issues at all, and I have another router connected to it, and 5 laptops and a file server. Some running vista, others running XP, and one running Ubuntu. Be sure to upgrade the drivers on your Wireless PCI card or Wireless USB adapter.

I did have issues in the past with one of my wireless PCI network adapters in one of my desktops. Problem was, it was a cheap generic brand and yes, it kept dropping out. I got rid of it, and got a branded known Wireless Adapter and it now works perfectly fine.
