WAG354G Query

    When I use the default gateway ip address (192.168.1.1 website), and connect to the internet via the status tab, the internet light on the modem turns on and I connect correctly. I am then connected as long as I want.
    If I power of the PC and turn it back on again, and try to connect to the internet by double clicking the 'Internet Explorer' icon it cannot connect. The only way to reconnect is to go back to the default gateway ip address (192.168.1.1 website), and reconnect using the status tab.
    Is this normal?
    I really don't want to have to do this EVERY time I want internet accss.
    Can anyone help?

    Do you have "connect on demand" or "keep alive" selected on the front page of the web settings? Whichever it is, you might try switching to the other, to see if that helps.

    If you have selected "connect on demand" you'll have to reconect manually using the status tab.

    You might use the "keep live setting" if you wan't your modem to be connected all the time
