I am unfamiliar with networking, but have installed and have working very nicely a WAG354G adsl wireless router. I have one issue that I am not sure how to resolve though...

When a computer connected to the router is rebooted, it's ip often changes. Is there any way for me to make the router always assign the same ip to a particular computer, or is there another way to do this? (The machines are all networked together, and also share the 'net connection.)

    Thanks in advance.

afaik the WAG354G does not support Static DHCP. so there is two ways.

Either manually set ALL PCs to have Static IP addresses, or use a DHCP server on one of your PC's

what Operating systems do all your PCs run?

Bit of a mix to be honest....

    A win2K machine
    A windows Xp
    And a Mac

There is another posting about a hidden page for reserving DHCPs here

    Is this of any use?

    Thanks again

if dhcp_reserved.asp exists on your WAG354G then i would guess (I dont know what it looks like) it would be for selecting DHCP Services and Static IP addresses to a mac address of the PC's

Wish I could post a screenshot of the page - any ideas how?

    Doesn't appear to store values

I tried this entering the mac address of the pc along with the IP address I want and it does not appear to save the settings.

How many other hidden pages are there ?

is there anyone that tried to use this page?
I tried, but with no success; when I press the "save settings" button I get a script error and I cannot save the configuration.
It happens with IE7 and FF2...I looked the source of the asp, but with no success...
anyone can help me? I really need that solution..

It appears that these hidden pages are uncompleted, and therefore unusable. Contact Linksys and suggest they complete it.
