WAG354G won't visit some sites

    Hi there

I've got a desktop and a laptop connected to a WAG354G. The desktop works just fine in all scenarios. The laptop refuses to go to certain sites, e.g. www.google.co.uk, www.bbc.co.uk but will visit others, such as www.theregister.co.uk.

I've tried with a DFE-650TX card and a direct cable link to the router, and a wireless card also. I've tried two different laptops. In all cases, the laptops either refuse to view HTML or only view certain sites.

DNS, DHCP etc. all work fine.

The desktop works fine and browses without a hitch.

From Ethereal, I've seen the following:

No. Time Source Destination Protocol Info
    24 23.024021 Cisco-Li_23:76:3e D-Link_8a:6c:51 ARP Who has 192.168.1.65? Tell 192.168.1.1

No. Time Source Destination Protocol Info
    25 23.024147 D-Link_8a:6c:51 Cisco-Li_23:76:3e ARP 192.168.1.65 is at 00:80:c8:8a:6c:51

Frame 25 (42 bytes on wire, 42 bytes captured)
    Ethernet II, Src: D-Link_8a:6c:51 (00:80:c8:8a:6c:51), Dst: Cisco-Li_23:76:3e (00:14:bf:23:76:3e)
    Address Resolution Protocol (reply)

These two are interpreted as the router asking who is 192.168.1.65 -which is weird - the DFE-650TX has been allocated that IP address from the router by DHCP.

    Frame 22 falls over:

No. Time Source Destination Protocol Info

    Internet Protocol, Src: 66.102.9.99 (66.102.9.99), Dst: 192.168.1.65 (192.168.1.65)
Transmission Control Protocol, Src Port: http (80), Dst Port: 1062 (1062), Seq: 1978, Ack: 1152, Len: 1134

    Any thoughts?

    Regards, Mark
