Hi, I am just about to setup a Mac with Aiport Extremne Card so it can access the WAG54G wireless router...not being a Mac person does anyone have any hints and tips about what i may be walking into? At present the Linksys is only serving my PC and uses a Cat5 cable for that so it will also be first time for getting the wireless side up and running on the router...an adventure!! Cheers :)

One thing to look out for if you are using WEP encryption is the type of key being used. Linksys accepts keys in Hex only while Apple favours the ASCII type which has different lengths.

My encounter with Linksys WRT54G mixing Hex and ASCII is that it doesn't like Hex equivalent ASCII keys being used at the client end.
