    Greetings,
    I tried to look for a post related to this model, can't find it, maybe not so popular one.

    This is my second WAG54G, i've sold about 5 units to my customers, all of them Annex B (for Rdis), some of them I had problems with wireless protocols, keep constantly droping, need to reset the router, but my main question is that lately I find my router slow, especially with P2P programs, at this moment i'm using 1.02.7 Firmware, Internet connection 1024 x 256, Windows xp Sp2, P2P program: Shareaza; Firewall: Sygate Pro 5.5.

    1. I've started to open a few ports at Application & Gaming - First in menu Single port Forwarding and then repeated all the info at Port Range Forwarding and Port Triggering - Don't exactly know if it's necessary to open the same ports at several menus, done a few tests and programs seems to work.

    2. I would like to know the maximum number of connections this router can handle so I can properly set it.

    3. Another issue is: could the internet supplier block / lower the bandwitch of some ports so they can control the amount of download / upload rate?

    I have two options here, or I change the router and buy another one, other brand, or I change the internet supplier (operator), so I really need some answers.

    Max Upload: 30 KB/s -> Slow
    Max Download: 10 / 12 KB/s -> Slow

    Many Thanks.

    to Linksys moderators.

    It seems this post is abandoned, no one seems to answer my questions, don't bother, I'll buy another router.

    If for linksys selling is not the issue, or, it's doesn't matter, I don't see the point of trying to sell your products to future customers.

    Thank you for nothing.

    Firstly this isn't an official forum and so therefore is in no way associated with Linksys. Secondly you only waited a few hours for a response, people access this forum from all over the world so just because your awake doesn't mean other people are :roll:
