Hi guys, wondered if anyone has tried the following before? remote pc xp (private ip "x") > (private ip "x") WAG54G V2 (static public ip) > internet > (static public ip) WAG54G V2 (static private "y" ) > PIX 501 (static private "y") > w2k3 server (static private "z") I want to be able to create a VPN tunnel so that the remote pc can see files on the server. Can the WAGs have a tunnel between them? Can the remote WAG build a tunnel to the Cisco PIX Should the remote client use the cisco vpn client software to the pix Should the remote client use windows vpn client to the server? Regards Lee
Quiet on the answer front Update: I have managed to get from inside the pix to the WAG54G and onto the internet. So basic IP connectivity is in place. I know that the WAG54G V2 is not a router, but is there a way of adding a "static route" or all protocol forwarding to a specific IP address? Regards Lee
A Link for newbies? Hi Guys, in the course of trying to get a solution I talked to Linksys support. They were unable to help, but did give me a link to a website that others might find helpful: http://www.linksys.com/support/troubleshoot <first time may come back - not authorised, but try it again and it seems to let you through> Lee
