    Hi,

I recently buyed a WAG54G v2, working well till now. I hope Linksys release soon the firmware source, v2 uses a Linux based firmware and the source release is required by the GPL, isn't it?

Well, the question is: I want to to log the connection events on my PPPoE DSL . Is there any simple software to log this events? I don't need all the traffic events or the firewall events, only the connections and disconnections to my ISP, or any soft I can filter the events I want.

If not available, is there any info about the packets sent by the router to the logger (I think it uses the port UDP 162).
EDIT: Seems it uses standard SNMP traps on UDP port 162.

    TIA
    Best Regards,

it may use linux but some routines linke the adsl may not be under gpl licencing and therefore linksys wont release the code.
