WAG54G V2 - Updates on OpenWrt on AR7

    Hey

    Here is a update on the current status of the open source project for the WAG54g V2 routers.

    Kernel 2.4.30 boots
    Ethernet driver + bridge is currently working
    Adsl module is in in the kernel. Need some testing done on that.
    Wlan module need some more work done.
    Mtd flash map driver works.
    Vlynq support is working

    The filesystem for rootfs is squashfs + a jffs2 RW partition.

    Todo
    Test adsl module fully
    Wlan needs testing and some more work on the wireless extensions
    Support for the Led drivers
    Init Scripts

    I understand, when I want to test it, I have to hardware hack the WAG54G v2? Or is there a software way? And is there also a easy way back after testing it to the original firmware... If there is, I will test it.. But need a howto, (becouse I dont have spare ADSL modems...)

    Well, if you need it for your regular internet connection, don't flash OpenWrt yet. We don't have any scripts/tools in place, that establish a DSL connection.

    then I should wait. It is for my regular connection. It is no problem to dont have a full functional device, but internet is needed...

    Erhm.. But is there a softinstall way? without hw hacking?
