    Hi,

I'm having issues with my xbox360 wireless adapter and the wag54g. 802.11b works fine but doesn't give enough bandwidth with media center. I've tried various different versions of firmware with no luck. With each version of firmware that I've tried the wireless firmware version remains at 1.0.4.3 is there any later version of firmware for wireless? I've read that you need 1.0.8 for the standard 802.11g does this version number refer to the wireless firmware or device firmware?

I've tried setting the WAG54G in Mixed mode and 802.11g mode and channels 1 -> 13 with no luck.

Other threads say that the WAG54G version 1 isn't any good with 802.11g and you should use a WAG54G version 2.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Thanks

If you have a WAG54G v1.x Annex A the latest official firmware is
    WAG54G_AnnexA_ETSI_v1.02.7_03_code.bin

AFAIK the latest beta firmware is
    WAG54G_AnnexA_ETSI_v1.03.0_beta4_00_code.bin

Are you sure you have a WAG54G v1?

I am using v1.03.0_beta4_00 and have no issues with it connecting my laptop with a Ralink RT2500 minipci, rock solid in g mode.

    cheers
    Filip
