    Hey All,

I am new to the Linksys VPN setup, but have done some research into how it works etc and am getting there :)

I have a slight problem. Although the VPN status say "Connected" I cannot ping the remote network.

    I have four WAG54G Routers (2x Ver 1, 1X Ver 1.2 and 1X Ver 2)

To begin with, I am using the two Ver 1 (Firmware V1.02.01) routers to get a connection from our head office, to the remote office.

I struggled to get a VPN connection to work, so for testing reasons this is my setup within the two routers...

    ROUTER ONE - Head Office

    Tunnel Name - STH
    IPsec VPN Tunnel - Enabled
Local Secure Group - Subnet (192.168.1.0,255.255.255.0)
    Remote Secure Group - Subnet (192.168.2.0, 255.255.255.0)
Remote Security Gateway - Domain (This is set to a DYNDNS Address for the REMOTE OFFICE, which is working)
Encryption & Authentication - Both Disabled (For Testing Reasons - Once everything is working, will change these)
    Auto. (IKE)
    PFS- Enabled
    Pre-Shared Key - 1234 (Again, for testing)
    Key Lifetime - 3600
    Advanced Settings - Proposel One - Auth - MD5, Encry - DES, Group - 768bit, Key Lifetime - 3600.
    Proposel Two - Group - 768Bit, Key Lifetime - 3600.
    Other Settings - NetBios - Enabled, Anti-Reply - Enabled & Keep-Alive - Enabled.

    Router Two - Remote Office

    Tunnel Name - STH
    IPsec VPN Tunnel - Enabled
Local Secure Group - Subnet (192.168.2.0,255.255.255.0)
    Remote Secure Group - Subnet (192.168.1.0, 255.255.255.0)
Remote Security Gateway - Domain (This is set to a DYNDNS Address for HEADOFFICE, which is working)
Encryption & Authentication - Both Disabled (For Testing Reasons - Once everything is working, will change these)
    Auto. (IKE)
    PFS- Enabled
    Pre-Shared Key - 1234 (Again, for testing)
    Key Lifetime - 3600
    Advanced Settings - Proposel One - Auth - MD5, Encry - DES, Group - 768bit, Key Lifetime - 3600.
    Proposel Two - Group - 768Bit, Key Lifetime - 3600.
    Other Settings - NetBios - Enabled, Anti-Reply - Enabled & Keep-Alive - Enabled.

The staus on both these connections is "CONNECTED" however, when I try to ping from the Headoffice to the remote office, it does not respond. Nor does it respond if I am pinging from Remote office, to Head Office. I have proberly missed something major out, but I just cant think what.

Thanks for any help in advance
