I am using Thibor15c on my WRT54GL, and I used to have a very useful startup script for performing a WOL call to a specific MAC address at a specific time. It was one line, and it called ether-wake.c A recent power loss required me to hard reset the router, and I lost my startup scripts. I've searched every where, and I can't find this simple start-up script. Can anyone help me?
If you use quotation marks while you perform a search on google, you'd search for "ether-wake.c" try that when you search in future. This is the result of that search. You'll find this page which i beleive will be helpfull to you. It contains a link to a ftp site where this file is listed, i didn't download it. Lots of success with this.
Actually, that was my first step... and no luck. I've found plenty of information on the etherwake.c function in Thibor & BusyBox, but nothing on implementing it in a startup script. I know I'd found a forum post somewhere many moons ago, but I can't seem to track it down. I was hoping that some else out there using WOL in a startup script, and can point me in the right direction.
