Does anyone know of the differences in the wake on lan functionality for Thibor 15? I use the Wake on Lan frequently and was curious what the difference between the implementation that iamqwerty created and Thibor integrated back around version 12/13 and the Ether-Wake version Thibor integrated into 15. Is the Ether-Wake version only integrated into the SL, or is that in the 15 version for the G/GS/GL units as well.

If this is also in the G/GS/GL units, how does it function - GUI, command line?

Well, I went ahead and tried Thibor 15 and, unfortunately, the Wake on Lan functions are not working for me.

Prior to flashing the firmware, I went into Thibor 14 and cleared the NVRAM. Flashed to Thibor 15. Cleared the NVRAM.

All settings were re-entered. I have 7 machines that are set with Static DHCP. I tried clicking on the WOL button beside each machine and could not get any of the machines to wake up. I next tried to reboot the router and tried to wake up the machines. I also tried to manually enter the MAC address and still could not get the machines to wake up.

I'll be dropping back to Thibor 14 until this is resolved. I often remotely boot these machines from my home.

I also made sure that the machines that were set to static DHCP were getting the proper IP address, and they are.

-- Thibor - Thanks for your continued great work. I look forward to 15a!!

I've upgraded to 15b1 and the Wake On Lan function is still out of order, although no mention of WOL fixes were in the changelog and I did not expect a fix yet!

I'm curious if others are having problems with the WOL function as it worked quite well in previous versions.

Also, is anyone having SUCCESS with the WOL function? Perhaps the problem is with certain NICs.

Thanks again to Thibor for excellent firmware and lots of hard work.

it's fixed now, it'll be in b2, prowler: if you had responded to me via PM, it would've been fixed sooner

Thibor - Thanks for the quick reply - I've been out of the forums (and totally offline) for the last couple of days and only tried the b1 build this morning. I did not want to post again until I confirmed that the new build still had the problem and was not isolated to something on my end.

I greatly appreciate your work - the firmware is EXCELLENT, and your support of requests, questions is tops! This community is lucky to have you.

    Me too.

My WOL does not work with Thibor 15c.

If it's not too much trouble, Thibor and Iamqwerty please get with each other too fix this WOL issue.

If you need any help, I'll do my best to help out.

Thanks and keep up the awesome work; it's much appreciated.
