    Good evening,

    is it possible to use a tomato Router e.g. Asus RT N66U to "switch" the exisiting WAN Port? Means...
    My cable/docsis ISP offers me 2 DHCP Wan IPs - but they both share the same bandwith. So i don't want to make DualWan or load balancing.
    I have two routers here, both with tomato.
    Is it possible to go physically from Cable Modem --> Wan Port of 1. Router
    2. Router --> Lan Port 1, which is on the same vlan as the Wan Port (so that he gets his own Wan IP from the ISP?)
    This infact is layer 2 work i think? We have 1 physical connection but 2 logical ones.

    Here a quick paint-image for this setup:

    i just got it. It's fairly easy :)

    Router 1:
    Cable Modem --> Wan
    Lan 1-3: Nat'ed for local devices
    Lan 4 --> same vlan als Wan

    Router 2:
    Lan 4 of Router1 --> Wan
    Lan 1-4: Nat'ed for local devices
