WAN2 as transparent bridge

Discussion in 'Cisco Small Business Routers and VPN Solutions' started by Robin Larsson, Aug 4, 2006.

  1. Hello,

We've just removed a branch office servers and move them to our main office.
Before, the users on the main office (192.168.0.*) were able to use the servers in the branch office (
Now when we moved the servers we thought we could use the WAN2 as a transparent bridge, to the 192.168.31 net.

But we can't get it working.

    The setup is:

    RV082 -> WAN2 -> Switch -> Servers

    Rv082 is

WAN1 is used to the internet.

    How should we setup this?
Hope you understand what I mean.

We thought this would be the right way, but it doesn't seem to be:

    Specify WAN IP address:
    Subnet mask:
    Default gateway:
    DNS Server:
Internal LAN IP Range: to 254

    Can anyone help?

Presumably there used to be a VPN link to the office where the server used to be, has the config for this been removed from the RV082?
