Hi All, Is it possible to flash the Linksys WAP11 ver 2.8 with the HyperWRT firmware? I have 3 WAP11 ver 2.8 that I would like to increase there output power and if possible add SNMP and NAT to them. If the HyperWRT does not work can someone recommend a different firmware? Thanks
Please were you able to flask any fimrware that can increase the output of your WAP11ver2.8 ? I have a similar problem now. Can you please recommend the firmware you used to me ? Thanks
I'm in the same boat. There are four v2.8 WAP11's with matching boosters on my desk that are now worthless because the strongest (non) encryption they support is WEP128. Any info would be great. I know the 2.2's could be flashed with DLink firmware, but these use a different file format to upload firmware so it's not as easy (if the DLink firmware would even work on a 2.8 once installed...).
Do you need the modified D-Link firmware for the WAP-11 ? I have modified a bunch of firmwares D-Link, US-Robotics, Etc... Let me now if you need the firmware by PM me.
