WAP11 CONNECTION PROBLEM WITH WRT54G

I HAVE A WIRELESS NETWORK USING THE WRT54G AS THE ROUTER. ONE WIRED DESKTOP IS CONNECT TO THE ROUTER, AN ATA (VOIP) IS CONNECTED TO THE ROUTER VIA A SEPARATE LINKSYS SWITCH AND THE ATA (VOIP) IS CONNECTED TO THE MOTOROLA CABLE MODEM. THEREFORE, THE SETUP IS AS FOLLOWS:

    CABLE MODEM~~ATA~~LINKSYS SWITCH~~WRT54G ~~ (WIRED DESKTOP TO THE WRT54G) >>2 WIRLESS LAPTOPS

HERE IS THE PROBLEM. I ADD A LINKSYS WAP11 WIRED CONNECTION TO THE WRT54G. RAN THE SETUP FOR THE WAP11 (GAVE IT A DIFFERENT SSID AND WEP FROM THE WRT54G) SETUP WENT OK. VIA AN APPLICATION CALLED "NETWORK MAGIC," I SAW THE WAP11 CONNECTED AND IS NOW PART OF THE NETWORK.

HOWEVER, FROM THE BROWSER I RUN THE WRT54G IP ADDRESS TO LOG IN AS THE ADMIN, NOTHING HAPPENED, I AM NOT ABLE TO LOG INTO THE WRT54G BUT I CAN LOG INTO THE WAP11. THE WRT54G IS SET FOR (B/G) AS YOU KNOW THE WAP11 IS (B).

UPON REBOOTING THE LAPTOP I AM WORKING FROM I HAVE LOST CONNECT TO THE WRT54G AS THE WIRELESS HOST AND NOW HAVE CONNECTED TO THE WAP11 AS THE WIRELESS HOST. HOWEVER, I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I HAVE TWO TIVO UNITS WIRELESSLY CONNECTED; THESE STILL HAVE CONNECTION TO THE WRT54G.

HOW CAN I GET CONNECTION BACK TO THE WRT54G AS THE WIRELESS HOST (USING JUST (G)) AND USE THE WAP11 STRICKLY AS A (B) AP.

    THANKS
