    Hi all!

does anyone have experienced problems when connecting two wap54gpe devices, one as AP and one as repeater?
it seems that we experience random pachet loss...

yes having the same problems. I Have a call scheduled from a senior tech at linksys to address this hopefully.

Does it do this about once a day, and then a reboot of the main AP fixes it?

If so, having exact same problem

what kind of security do you have? we've 4 wap54g, one in AP mode and the other 3 in repeater mode, with the last firmware runs fine (WEP). But WPA doesn't run well...

Take my advice, stay away from the wap54gpe, they are total junk. They leak water after a few weeks, the lan connectors corrode. Not only that, these things suffer horrible problems with packet loss, and need rebooted quite often.... If you want to be a guinny pig, go ahead, but be forwarned.

We are trying to get our money back on the 7 we have now, 2 of them already died on us, and the rest function terribly.
