    1. Is it possible to use WRE54G as a range extender for WAP54GX?

    2. Can I chain WRE? ie.

    WAP -> WRE -> WRE

    And whats the speed?

    I have a requirement to cover 200m2 house with 2 floor (there is open space between 1st and 2nd floor, but there are some brick also), which linksys device would you recommend?

    Modem+Router exists and there should be no wired, except between AP and router.

    I doubt that the WAP54GX can be repeated or bridge, since the WRT54GX cannot be repeated or bridged and uses the same technology. I would use a WRT54GX version 2.0 as a access point only and see if it will cover the area. It can be purchased on sale at a lower price. See review of the WRT54GX: http://www.tomsnetworking.com/Reviews-189-ProdID-WRT54GX.php

    MIMO uses multiple antennas and multiple radios to increase range and throughput. It takes advange of multipath and the number of antennas are necessary for increased performance. It seems con-intuitive to use only one antenna. Read this article: http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1759,1611293,00.asp
