    Hi all,

Anyone could suggest which is better (gives strong signal and range), WAP54GX or using WAP54G+AS2TNC+HGA7T?

    Thanks :)

As long as you do not have to repeat or bridge the signal the WAP54GX would be better than the WAP54G with high gain antennas. The WAP54GX has removalbe antennas so you can outfit it with high gain antennas also. The high gain antennas flatten the signal lobes on the vertical axis it is like a flatten torus or donut. So if you have a multiple story house the high gain antennas would not help on the higher floors, but would make the signal worst. The WRT54GX used as an access point is a better buy and version 2.0 also has removable antennas.
