Warning: IPv6 and Netflix

    For those here who are hell-bent on getting working IPv6, I strongly recommend you read the following threads on the outages.org mailing list (note: in most cases actual engineers are the ones posting to these lists, so take heed).

    TL;DR -- If you're using IPv6 and streaming Netflix and encounter issues, try disabling IPv6 on your router and workstation/computers (or just disable it on your router then reboot your workstations (this will inhibit picking up any IPv6 RAs on the LAN)).

    This thread IS NOT intended to help troubleshoot IPv6 over Netflix or general Netflix issues. I just want to make that clear.

    I have nothing else to contribute in this thread. I just want to make people aware of these issues that are now of a recurring nature.
