I have a WCG200 Cable Gateway and the computers and xbox on my network can only access the Internet when the units are set to DHCP. If I do static and set the DNS to the ip of the WCG200 ( there is no resolution of the DNS.

Is the WCG not capable of resolving DNS to clients in my network with static IPs?

    Any feedback is welcome. Thanks.

    Setting static DNS

You need to set the DNS to the one from your Cable provider. The WCG200 is not a DNS server, so you need to point your xbox to a real dns server. If you have a pc on the LAN, you can use ipconfig /all to get this info. If there's only the xbox, you'll probably have to call.
