I recently got a WCG200 Cable Modem/Router to replace the Motorola Surfboard that I had been renting from Comcast. Before, I could leave SSH/Telnet connections idle for at least half an hour or so before something would make them timeout, but now, I can't leave a connection idle for more than about 5 minutes before I get disconnected. It doesn't matter if I use a wired connection or a wireless one, and since the only thing about the network that changed was the modem/router, that's where I'm inclined to lay the blame. I don't see any setting that might affect these connections on the web interface, and I'm kind of at a loss. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how I can fix it? Or at least get a better idea of what might be going wrong?
