I have two WRT54GS both with sveasoft firmware. They are set up with WDS as described by Justin somewhere on these pages.

However I cannot access the internet from the client WRT's LAN ports. Does WDS only forward through the client's wireless port or should I have internet connection on the LAN ports as well?

When checking Status / Wireless, what does <mac address> rssi mean? On the 'server WRT' I have have rssi -44 and on the client I have rssi -28.

If I'm not supposed to access the internet from the client's LAN ports with Justin's setup, is it possible to achieve other ways w/o shell programming?

Thanks a lot for comments on these paragraphs

    best regards
