    Have been working on this for a little while, and this is probably covered in another thread somewhere, however I cannot find it.

    Here is the deal

    Current Situation
    Internet ----- (WRT54G A) // (WRT54G B)++++++(WUSB54G)

    Internet ----- (WRT54G A)+++++(WRT54G B)+++++(WUSB54G)

    Any Clues on how to fix?

    More Info

    2 WRT54G Firmware v3.03.6 - HyperWRT 2.1b1

    WRT 1 is conntected to 2 wired PCs, one wireless laptop and a fractional T1

    WRT 2 is connected to 1 wired PC and 1 wireless PC

    How do I get both routers to talk to one another?

    Really the questions I need answered is

    SSID? same or different?
    Channel? same or different?
    WEP? can it be enabled? Keys the same?

    I used telnet to set
    WRT 1
    wl0_wds=[MAC WRT 2]

    same on the other router, Is there anything else or any other settings that need to be fixed?

    for WDS you have to use SAME CHANNELS, SAME WEP KEY...

    example, put it on 11 channel no wep, and if ping works, then you can go further... if it doesn't work (happened to me) download latest official linksys firmware, flash it, and then reset, flash HyperWRT and configure WRT again..

    it should work then... enjoy
