    Hi Everyone,

I'm having some kind of limit speed in my second and third router, let me explain my configuration:

R1: RT-N16, Tomato RAF 1.28.8903, WDS+AP, with USB HD shared (SAMBA), DM500 connected too, wired to cable-modem to share internet.
R2: GL-520GU, Tomato RAF 1.28.8520, WDS+AP, security DVR connected via LAN.
    R3: GL-520GU, Tomato RAF 1.28.8520, WDS+AP, printer server.

Everything is working fine, I can print from every router, I can access SAMBA drive, etc. But, when I tried to download something in R2 or R3 coverage, I have a limit speed of 2 mbs, how can improve that? is't a normal behavior?

Thanks in avanced and many thanks to Teddy_bear and Victek for their great job.

    Hi All,

I installed DD-WRT in 2nd router with same download speed (not more than 2 mbps), so this issue is related to Host router, any idea?

Did you mean downloading from R1's HD? Is there a higher speed if you do that via R1 directly? If not, USB is probably the bottleneck.

    Hi TT76,

If I'm in the same R1 coverage I can donwload at 20 mbps, the problem is when I'm in R2 or R3 coverage.

What kind of speed are you seeing when downloading through R1?

You may want to look at: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeating_Mode_Comparisons

When using most repeater modes your bandwidth is halved for wireless clients.

I guess you can disregard this, seems like I was posting at the same time you were making the above post.

    Hi agentsmith23

From R1 I can download from internet upto 10 Mbps and from SAMBA files upto 20 mbps (more-less).
