I don't know if anybody could use it, but here is it the problem: I have a big wlan implemented using WRT54G/gs, but I need some "high availity" characteristics. My devices had a subnet for aps, another subnet for bridges, and is hierarchycal (a root node with point-2-point links to the children and so on). All are in the same ethernet network. I think many forums members knows this type of implementation. My problem came when an intermediate p2p link or node goes off (electrical failure, power disfunction, device broken, etc...). A network segment is aisled under these circunstances. I'm not routing the network, I'm using only layer 2 bridges. Fine, I implement "redundance" links adding more point to point links beween some places of the network and changing the bridge ports parameters and is working without problems when a link or device is down. For my purposes, all bridging parameters are very usefull it they could be configured in wds page in any form, at least in "LAN" links. Is anyone thinking I'm crazy? I accept some suggestions or comments about this network design (and waiting very interested your comments). Thanks P.D.: Sorry for my english, if anybody need some explanation, please, ask to me.
