    Hi,

    I have a WAG354G connected to the phone line through which i can access the web. I also have a WRT54G v5 flashed with ddwrt. I want to expand my network using wds and take advantage of the wrt switch in order to connect through wire my pc's. Is this possible using these machines? Can you redirect me to a tutorial if any?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    The WAG 354G doesn't support WDS !
    The only one Linksys gateway supporting WDS is the WAG 54G 1.2 with the last firmwares...

    Take care, WDS is for wireless repeating or bridging.
    Nevertheless, with the WRT in client mode, you can catch the WAG signal for the plugged PCs without WDS on the WAG...

    I actually has my wag354g the 192.168.1.1 ip. I changed the ip default ip of WRT54G to 192.168.1.2. I changed the wireless mode to client. How can i see if the connection between the routers is established?

    The "status/wireless" menu indicates the connected AP !
    You can go also on the "site survey" menu and click Join !
    Take care, use "Client Bridged"

    OK i can now ping all my computers connected to wag354g from the computer connected to WRT54G. But i can't see any web sites through wag354. Why is that. The gateway is set to 192.168.1.1.

    Try :
    Network Setup / Gateway -> 192.168.1.1
