First of all I'd like to say thanks to the makers of HyperWRT and Thibor! Today was a big day as we got our new WRTSL54GS.. I flashed it with HyperWRT + thibor15c and began to figure this whole WDS thing out. Somehow I got things working using my own idea after not having any luck with a good tutorial on the matter. So now my issue is that I cannot log into the bridge box.

The Setup: I'm running the WRTSL54GS v2 HyperWRT + thibor15c in our den connected to the net, a PC, a USB printer, and Vonage. I've got our WRT54G v2 HyperWRT + thibor15c in another room connected to an Xbox 360 and our main PC.

    The Configuration:

    I set the WRTSL54GS as 192.168.1.1 subnet 255.255.255.128
    Name: WRT_1
    Wireless Mode AP+WDS
    Mixed
    SSID
    Channel 11
    Broadcast Enable
Link with Following pointing to Wireless MAC of WRT_2
MAC Filter on with Wireless MAC of WRT_2 entered

    I set the WRT54G as 192.168.2.1 subnet 255.255.255.128
    Internet Connection Disabled
    Name: WRT_2
    DHCP Disabled
    Advanced Routing
    Router
    Router Name WRT_1
LAN IP set to IP of WRT_1
    Subnet Mask 255.255.255.128
Default gateway set to IP of WRT_1
    Interface Lan & Wireless
    Wireless Mode AP+WDS
    Mixed
    SSID
    Channel 11
    Broadcast Enable
Link with following pointing to Wireless MAC of WRT_1
    Security Off

The issue: I cannot access the GUI of WRT_2 the bridge box @ 192.168.2.1 and I don't know why. The network is working fine and I can even access WRT_1 the WRTSL54GS from my main PC that is plugged into WRT_2. But I cannot get into WRT_2 from either machine. What have I done wrong? What can I do to fix it?

You have WRT_2 in a different subnet and the traffic from you main is not routed to 192.168.2.x. Either enter a static route to 192.168.1.2 or put WRT_2 in the same 192.168.1.x subnet.

I'm sorry but I don't follow.. they're both in the 255.255.255.128 subnet.. I mean the network is working.. again my issue is that I cannot access WRT_2s GUI.. Then once I do that I will apply security.. Maybe I didn't understand what you're saying.. I'm sorry but you could go more into detail?
