I currently have remote access enable on my AP1 and would like to enable it (using a different port of course) on AP2. Are there any tricks to making this work? I tried enabling it and was unable to connect. Do I need to create a new forwarding rule from AP1 to AP2 inorder for it to work?

You should be able to do so just by setting it to a different port number than the first AP, and forwarding incoming traffic on that port to the second AP.
I have two APs running on my home network, and access them both remotely by placing them at different ports. The first AP, connected to the internet, is where you'll want to set up the forwarding to point packets destined for port ???? to go to the IP of AP2.
Lets say you have APs at 192.168.0.1 (AP1) and 192.168.0.100 (AP2), acessible by ports 12121 and 23232, respectively. When packets come into the network via the edge (assuming this is AP1, located at 192.168.0.1), AP1 would normally ignore them if they don't look like they are in response to any outgoing traffic. In order to get AP1 to do anything useful with them, you'll have to setup a port forwarding rule in AP1 to forward all incoming traffic on port 23232 to AP2. AP2 will have to expect that incoming remote access traffic is coming on port 23232, and you'll do that the same way you enabled remote management on AP1, just with an AP2-specific port. Clear enough, or too wordy? Anyways, I hope this helps. It would be so much easier to show you screenshots of the setup pages of my two router/APs, but Uncle Sam has my internets locked down something fierce.

Just port forward port 8080 (or whatever you want) on AP1 to port 80 of the LAN address of AP2.

    That's great. Thanks.
