Im running 2 wrtg54s with Alchemy rc6 in WDS on XP SP2. Runs great, always up, but I'm not using any security. I'm running static ip's throughout with DHCP disabled on both WRT's. My question is ,since DHCP is disabled, would someone still be able to use my bandwidth?

    Hi,
    Sure !
Even with encryption and MAC address filtering... but it's a little bit more difficult.
DHCP server is only a way to give IP addresses not to secure a network...

I can't seem to get ANY type of encryption to work or even MAC filtering to work without shutting the WDS down. If my routers aren't handing out IP's via DHCP, how would someone use my BW? Could they still access my network. MY subnet and IP range are not default.
