Hey everyone, I have 2 wrt54g routers with alchamy firmware using wds. Router A has internet, router B intercepts, and allows me to get online, or should anyway.

My question is, when i surf via router B it is very slow or does not work. when I ping www.yahoo.com it replies fine with 45 ms response time.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need a better antenna? Or signal booster? Ive been looking at the hawking 500ma booster, would that be better than a larger antenna?

    Thanks anyone who can help.

Try to position both routers high in the air. Also make sure all the antennas are aligned the same way (when you look at them from the back, they make a square). You can boost the signal a bit from the menu.
