Sometimes I make changes remotely and the web interface becomes inaccessible for some time. SSH is enabled on all my customers, how do I restart the web interface/access via SSH without restarting the router?

    Thanks.

    Code:
    killall httpd
    httpd

Is it possible the Captive Portal starts if I do that? I tried on mine an hour ago and it started.

as I've never used Captive Portal, no idea.

httpd is the regular web interface. Captive Portal is probably named nocatd in ssh. type
    Code:
    ps
    to see what's running.

Sometimes when I make changes remotely the web interface becomes inaccessible because the router is rebooting. Are you sure you can connect via SSH during these outages?

The router is NOT rebooting. Remote control works, everything works. Sometimes the login interface just stops working for even 10-15-30-45-60 (I didn't have cases where it lasted longer than one hour) mins.

Don't know if related (probably not) but whenever I try to access the web interface using Firefox, and if the internet is down at that time, it causes Firefox to hang for 30 secs or so. If the internet is connected I don't have that problem.
