While the number of connections is 0 in the "Highest" category, the bandwidth is not 0 in the "Highest category.

Why is this the case?

If you set prioritize small packet ACK to yes, this could be it.

That's true. Those are ACK packets.

    Oh, I see, thanks.

Should I disable it then?

It´s not so simple. Somebody says yes, somebody says no. If you have heavy p2p traffic (= many ACK packets), disable it. Otherwise let them be prioritizied. Try every options and choose better for you. :)

If you download anything with tcp then turn it off  Any large file sent over tcp generates a huge number of ACKs nullifying any download classes the user creates. Unless you have a specific reason, it should be off.

50% of my bandwidth is used by usenet leeching (TCP). I just made the test with and without ACK prioritization. Turns out my browsing is much snappier with ACK prioritized than it is without. No clue why, just reporting on my findings

Because the tcp packets are given to priority making your downloading/browsing rules worthless.

    That's the dilemma I'm having.

My web browsing is smoother when the setting is enabled than disabled.

I enabled ACK priority becouse i have faster download speeds at bittorrent if i enable it.
If you disable it, the torrent client will upload to others rather than download.
