Weird Tomato/WRT54G v2.x Issue

running tomato 1.27 on a asus wl-520gu as my main router, setup as a ap+wds - this has worked for quite some time (well, 1.27 is new, but prior to that i was running 1.23 for quite some time).

now the interesting part. i had 1.23 on a linksys WRT54G v2.x and everything was good, it too was setup as ap + wds @ ip 192.168.1.2, w/ the asus main router being 192.168.1.1. basically all the configuration for static dhcp and everything was handled through the main asus router, but i could get into the linksys router @ 192.168.1.2.

after upgrading to 1.27 on both setups, after a short config on the linksys unit, i can no longer get into it. i type in 192.168.1.2 and nothing comes. and the funny thing, is that it works for a repeater either though the wireless or a ethernet cable. i wanted to configure some other stuff on the linksys router, but can't.

i unplugged the power cable and held the reset button down for 20+ seconds thinking its setup would be wiped out and i wold have to start over from scratch (which is what i wanted) but no such luck, it is still repeating the signal from the main router.

i know this is kind of a weird situation as usually the problem is that stuff won't work, but in my situation it shouldn't but is. fwiw, upnp was no turned on in either router.

now can somebody tell me how to wipe the linksys "secondary" router so that i can restart my config w/ it and access it? in all reality, it shouldn't be working w/ what i setup....

    tia,
