I chatted with Simon last night, and it made sense to us that we needed a CISCO area to address some of the issues that sometimes occurs when trying to connect CISCO and Linksys SOHO products (and otherwise) together.

If we can, let's try and keep CISCO device configurations (i.e., PIX, IOS) out of the regular Linksys device viewing forums (i.e., RV0xx, WRV200, WRT54G) and post them here, in relation to the SOHO device(s) you're trying to connect to. We don't need to add further confusion to people just starting off with Linksys gear :) .

Obviously, if you're running actual CISCO gear, you've crossed over into hardcore routing; this is the area where we'd like to encourage some of you already in the SMB/Enterprise environment to lend a "coaching" hand to some of us in the process of working on certification or just interested in expanding our routing knowledge.

Don't hate me for putting your names out in the open like this ( :) ) but users (that a few us know of) demonstrating knowledge of the CISCO architecture at this time are Kpare, Ifcan (sorry if I misspelled that), and eric_stewart, just to name a few. I'm currently in remedial (Hey, you forget stuff sitting in Iraq :) ) and Toxic has taken the plunge (with a Pix 506e) so there will be people here to assist others, along with the assistance other users bring with them to the forum.

Let's get some use out of this!!

Im all for it, for those of you that want anything Cisco help I am sure there are several folks here that are quite capable of delving into whatever might cross your mind. So as stated feel free to post, ask or just ponder any and everything Cisco. I can't speak for all but I can say I am really looking forward to seeing where this goes.
