I use the original WRT54GS firmware. When I enable WEP security I don't get an ip-adres from the router. If I disable WEP, all works fine.
What am I doing wrong?

Are thekey lengths the same? Your wireless NIC are you using hexadecimal keys on it? Linksys routers use hexidecimal keys. Are you using a paraphase key generator on both the router and wireless NIC, if your wireless NIC is not made by Linksys it will generate a different key. Always use key 1, when using a parphase key generator. What OS are you using, if you are using Windows XP SP2 with the WPA2 hotfix. remove the WPA2 hotfix, since it causes problems with WEP encryption.
