    Hey guys,

    I'm obviously new here, and I'm having a problem setting up part of my network. I have a WGA54AG and two WRT54G wireless routers. I don't want to use any 3rd party firmware on the WRT54G routers. I have a primary router (directly connected to the internet) which is a WRT54G v.8 and my other router, the secondary router is a WRt54G v. 2.

    So, basically, I want to use the WGA54AG as a bridge type of thing. I want to have the Primary router (WRT54G v.8) plugged directly into my modem (internet) and I want the WGA54AG to be receiving the signal like it normally would, then to have my secondary router (WRT54G v.2) to be plugged into that. So I would be able to connect to the secondary router wirelessly and still be connected to the internet. So it would be like this:

    Modem>>>>>>>>(wired) Primary Router WRT54G v.8 ------------>(wirelessly) WGA54AG>>>>>(wired) Secondary Router WRT54G v.2

    Now the problems start... If instead of plugging my secondary router in I just plug my laptop into the WGA54AG I can get internet. When I plug in the secondary router, I get no internet access. I can access the secondary router's setup page through firefox but no internet.

    My primary router IP is
    WGA54AG IP is
    the secondary router is changeable but i was using

    Any ideas of how to make this work, or if it is even possible? Linksys tech support told me it was but when I followed the step the tech guy gave me, it bricked my secondary router and I had to un-brick it.

    So any advice you can give or if you have done something like this I'd greatly appreciate any help.

    Thanks guys

    Does anybody have anything that automatically does something similar to what I am trying to do then?
