What firmware can I use to disable antenna diversity

I have a WRT54GS v1.0 running firmware version 2.07.1. I would like to connect a directional antenna to improve coverage in my home. An article in the Mar 22 issue of PC Magazine (pg. 76) said to install the Satori firmware upgrade since it provides options for diabling antenna diversity and selecting one of the antenna for both transmit and receive operations. Which firmware should I use? Satori, HyperWRT, etc.?

    Thanks. Need help - gnerd

Satori is based off a rather old version of the Linksys firmware. HyperWRT is based off the latest release and adds some great features along with your antenna diversity selection. That would definitely be a place to start. If you are looking for even more advanced features after that take a look at DD-WRT or Sveasoft's Alchemy once it goes public; HyperWRT has tons of additional features too, but many are not GUI accessible.
