Can anybody tell me what is the AP Watchdog and Cron in the Satori 4.0?
The AP watchdog resets the router, if there is no wireless connection in the given number of seconds. This is useful, if the clients are loosing connections because of a router-based problem.
(AP watchdog is not working is WDS mode)
with cron you can tell the router to execute commands or scripts at given times. You'll have to specifiy all details in /tmp/crontab
Unfortunately in Satori cron is broken.
For some reason the /etc/crontab file is not read, so commands put there do not run.
But, user level crontabs do in the /var/spool/cron/crontabs do run
Just wondering if you litterally mean "reset" as in restore
to default settings or does it simply reboot the router?
