Just got a router that supports tomato (WL-520GU) and I love it!

I got the outbound QoS set up perfectly, but what does the inbound settings do?

How can the router have any control over what gets sent to it?

    Thanks for your help!

You need to understand the overall strategy of the QOS system in controlling traffic. It does not help to refer to "incoming" nor "outgoing" QOS. Router QOS works by manipulating outgoing traffic in order to control the incoming data flow.
