What is jffs2 ?

    Can an expert explain this to me.

    Maybe its boring question but I need more details for this??

    the jffs is a parition in the memory of the router ithink the ram of the router. the great thing about it is that if you reboot the router everyting in the jffs partition will still be there.

    It's a filesystem using the flash RAM (nvram). That's why it
    survives a reboot.

    hmm i have another question here about jffs (and dont fel like starting a whole new topic for it)
    Is the jffs2 partition of the basic release of the firmware larger then the advanced one ?
