What is the SMTP redirect option in DD-WRT 22 (admin screen)??

How and why would I enable this for a home network??

SMTP is a mail server protocol.

So, perhaps they're allowing you to redirect all outgoing email to go to a single web server. This would/could be useful in a cafe or hotel type environment where you want to restrict how much outgoing mail can be generated from your IP address - so you'd block port 25 and redirect.

THis would keep worms from sending 10k messages from one guys computer - your smtp server would throttle that, or simply bounce him if you use virus scannign...

Just my thoughts, so BrainSlayer is free to correct me.

I am bringing this subject back from the dead cause I am not sure how to do this.

I am guessing the SMTP destination = the redirect SMTP server
    but what is source network?

basically I want to redirect all outgoing email from my internal network to my ISP provider's smtp server.
