I'd like to buy the WPS54G but first of all I've to know exactly what type of encryption on the wireless network it supports.
With the firmware 6049 does it support WPA-PSK with AES or not?
    Does it supports WPA2 ?

    Please tell me.
    Thanks to all.

You can download the manual from the linksys site

    I've already read the manual!

    At page 25:

    "Pre-Shared Key
Security Mode. If you want to enable the Pre-Shared Key method, select Pre-Shared Key.
WPA Algorithm. This method gives you one encryption method, TKIP, with dynamic encryption keys."

    and at page 52:

"Pre-Shared Key gives you a choice of two encryption methods: TKIP
(Temporal Key Integrity Protocol), which utilizes a stronger encryption method and incorporates Message
Integrity Code (MIC) to provide protection against hackers, and AES (Advanced Encryption System), which utilizes
a symmetric 128-Bit block data encryption."

So I think that the manual is not updated with the last version of the firmware...
