What's the "best" (pros/cons) filesystem for the SL w/Thibor16?

I played about with a few file systems on my USB disk and my SL back with Thibor14. Various issues... FAT had problems with large files, NTFS was read-only, etc.

So now 16x is out, with various filesystem improvements, what is the 'recommended' filesystem? Or at least a list of pros/cons?

I want to use the networked disk to both backup my data files (various sizes, mostly small) as well as Ghost system backup files (2GB each) and am not sure what to use for this. I just don't want to have to go through another round of formatting the disk multiple times and testing myself, especially as I bet it's "reinventing the wheel".

    Thanks!

NTFS is what I use now. its supported r/w now and works very well.

Using NTFS here too. I have no problems at all with it reading and writing. Only thing I haven't figured out how to do is make it default into the main directory rather than /FAT_1/

I'm using reiserfs here. No problems.

I'm still using FAT32 as the external drive is occasionally plugged in directly to an XBOX 360, which natively supports FAT32, I think.
