what's the optimal configuration for my apartment network?

    Hey all,

I am moving into an apartment and the apartment is so close to my school, I can pick up my schools wireless but it is slightly faint. I have lots of networking equipment...

WRT54G, WAP54G, WMP54G, and a microsoft pcmcia card for my laptop.

I don't know if this is possible or not. But is it possible to get the WRT54G to connect to the schools wireless (as opposed to connecting to a cable/dsl modem), and then serve that connection out over it's wlan?

Or... can I use the WAP54G to pick up the schools wireless and serve it to the WRT54G which serves it out to the desktop and notebook?

Or... can I use the WAP54G or WRT54G in repeater mode?

My assumption is that the WAP54G and WRT54G can pick up the schools wireless signal stronger than the desktop or notebook cards.

What is the best thing for me to do?

    Thanks!
    George
