I have a WRT54G with Firmware Version : v4.30.1, HyperWRT 2.1b1 +tofu11. I was having p2p problems and someone told me to enter this into the startup script:

    echo 4096 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_conntrack_max
    echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_echo_ignore_broadcasts
    echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_ignore_bogus_error_responses
    echo 512 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/neigh/default/gc_thresh1
    echo 2048 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/neigh/default/gc_thresh2
    echo 4096 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/neigh/default/gc_thresh3
    echo "600 1800 120 60 120 120 10 60 30 120" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_conntrack_tcp_timeouts

    Where does this go??
    thanks!!

    "Administration" tab.

    "Edit Startup Script" button.

Paste it in there, save it, and reboot the router (you can use the REBOOT button on the same page, or yank the plug and plug it back in).

With Tofu, you really shouldn't need that script, unless you are having problems. If you are, look at some of the other BitTorrent threads for a description of what each line does (I'm too lazy to type it again today) to see what you might need to adjust. Generally, if anything, the last line is the most critical. But it can't hurt to enter all of it and see how it works for you.
