I got two 7 foot cat6e ethernet cables one manufactured by DYNEX and the other hand-made by the Geek Squad.

Im not sure which is more reliable the Geek Squad's cost more so I guess it's more valuable, but the DYNEX one has a stronger and thicker outer coating and snagless connectors or atleast that's what I read.

I'm sure both are of good quality, and it your woried about using them because of thickness then don't use them at all.

CAT5e will do on most normal installations since most will handle 1000 Mbps, there is no need for CAT6e cabling

I work @ bestbuy and the Dynex one is really cheap... a cable we sell for 29.99 (Canadian) I can have @ 2.95 at staff purchase price. (Staff purchase price are the cost the company pays for it + 10%)

I'm in the GeekSquad but we don't do custom cable at my store, so I can't really tell if it's good quality or not.

ALL ethernet cable is that cheap in reality. They just mark it all up a lot.
