    using latest dd-wrt, tofu, alchemy, tali$man etc....i have a very big priority on bandwidth trottling (so my cable doesnt get glogged by uploads), recent l7 protocols and service oriented QoS.

    Which QoS works best and is most reliable ?

    Also...VERY general....which 3rd FW is most reliable (in the sense that it has the least bugs) and stable ?

    thanks :)

    btw. got a WRT54G V2 and PC/lappy --> WRT54G ---> comcast 6000/384
    currently dd-wrt 11/10 which is pretty good...but still following up on bugs etc.

    Likely OpenWRT. But it's pure linux (without webgui).

    Currently I'm using the latest(Nov 10) build of DD-WRT and the QOS seems to work fine with my Vonage. I was using HyperWRT but I was looking for something with downstream QOS and HyperWRT doesn't offer this. I tried Talisman 1.1 and didn't like it(was buggy) too. I using QOS mainly to give my Vonage phone top priority.

    I'll see how the DD-WRT firmware holds up to the big critic... the wife, when she uses the Vonage tonight to call he mom and I'm online playing World of Warcraft, at the same time. :D
