Which router is best for WDS+AP?

Is there any reason to choose one router over another (that are supported by Tomato) to set up a WDS+AP to WDS+AP link? e.g would WHR-HP-G54 give better performance on the WDS link, or would WRT54GL perform better because of 2 aerials..

    I've a WHR-HP-G54 and a WL-500GP linked WDS+AP to WDS+AP and have had no problems. Very stable.

Thanks. Stability wasn't my real concern though, I am interested what would give the best performance.

That is like asking how long is a piece of string. The Buffalo has a second antenna on the inside. The Buffalo is purported to have more power and better receive sensitivity. Stability is just an added bonus.

As long as you stick to either the Buffalo or a GL you are a-OK IMO. Don't look at G, GS, etc. However, if the Buffalo's receive sensitivity is better as suggested by LLigetfa, it would probably make for higher speed links in the face of interference or long distances.
